NX Guide

What is NX?

NX is virtual currency used in all games serviced by Nexon America, Inc.
NX can be spent to purchase in-game items, accessories, and services.
There are two types of NX:

NX Prepaid

NX Prepaid is purchased using Karma Koin cards or PayBy Cash. There are no restrictions on in-game purchases unless limited by character level.

NX Credit

NX Credit is purchased using a credit card, PayPal, or Charge Mobile, or may be earned via the Earn Free NX program. NX Credit cannot be used for certain items in Nexon games. Full details can be found under “NX Credit Restrictions”.

How to get it?

  • Karma Koin

    Karma Koin cards are available in the gift card section at many retailers. Buy a card, scratch off the silver back, and enter the pin code to charge your account with NX.

  • Credit Cards

    Purchase NX Credit in seconds using your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.(Powered by Ultimate Pay)

  • BilltoMobile

    Purchase NX using your AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon mobile phone. It's easy, secure, and fast! There's no registration necessary and your NX purchase will be charged to your phone bill.

  • PayPal

    PayPal is a trusted online payment service. Provide your payment informationto PayPal and PayPal does the rest! Have your PayPal Account information handy when you purchase NX.

  • PayByCash

    PayByCash is a wire transfer service available worldwide. PayByCash is a great alternative to Karma Koin Cards if they are not available in your area.

  • Earn FREE NX!

    You can earn FREE NX just by completing surveys or taking advantage of great offers from our marketing partners.

  • Nexon Game Cards

    Nexon Game Cards have been replaced by Karma Koin cards and are no longer available at retail outlets. If you still have unredeemed Nexon Game Cards, they never expire and can be redeemed for NX at any time.

Restrictions

As a security measure, NX Credit has certain restrictions on its use. No item purchased with NX Credit may be sentas a gift to a friend. Below you will find specific restrictions for individual games.

  • Atlantica Online

    • Clothing Random Boxes and Blessing Licenses cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.
    • Mounts and decoration Random Boxes cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 50.
    • Atlas Ores cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 60.

  • Combat Arms

    • Certain Supply Cases (including GP - Hazard, and MYST), Black HiSecKeys, Weapon Renewal Kits, and Respawn Tokens cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached the rank of Master Sergeant.
    • Mercenaries, Super Megaphones and Supply Case GP — Regular may not be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached the rank of Staff Sergeant.

  • Dungeon Fighter Online

    • Avatars, Echo Megaphones, Skeleton keys, Creatures, Dual Build Licenses, or special packages containing any of these items cannot bepurchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

  • Mabinogi

    • Certain Gachapon (including Soldier, Fashion, Explorer, Production, FixedDye, and Season or Magician) and Mystery Boxes cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

  • MapleStory

    • Character Name Change, Character Transfer, and Cash Shop Surprisecannot be purchased with NX Credit, nor can NX Credit be used in the Maple Trade System (MTS).
    • Gachapon and Remote Gachapon cannot be purchased with NX Credit until level 30. Meso Bags cannot be purchased with NX Credit at any level.

  • Vindictus

    • Surprise Supplies cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 30.

  • Dragon Nest

    • Item Protection Jelly cannot be purchased with NX Credit.
    • Magnifying Glasses cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 10.
    • Quick HP Gain Potions, Quick MP Gain Potions, Marketplace Passes, and Express Mail Stamps cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 15.
    • Dragon Eggs cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached level 32.
    • Approval Stamps cannot be purchased with NX Credit.

  • Sudden Attack

    • Certain Boxes (including TRG-21 Special, Sidearm Special, M4A1 Special, AK-47 Special, Weapon Skin, and Point Explosion Box) cannot be purchased with NX Credit until a character has reached Staff Sergeant.
